So, I've been making some pretty awesome strides these past couple months in my photography, success not to be measured via deviantart.

A good friend of mine from high school was named the newest drummer for Smashing Pumpkins back in September, and with that he got me a photo pass for their show when they come to town. He told me some pretty big names that they're touring with, but I don't wanna say them until they do. He's back in town for a month, taking a break from recording. He did play at the Satyricon with an old band of his and he asked me to come shoot them, and I've got a couple of their shots up.

The day before, I was helping a friend with a class project where she needed a shoot, and I ended up scheduling two car shoots and one or two snowboard shoots with her boyfriend and some of his friends.

I'm shooting my old high school's marching band. I know, band? I'm really good friends with all of them, and the constant hate battles I'm having with one of the techs keeps life interesting since I'm fighting for my right to shoot the band from wherever I want.The rest of the band hates him too, so I feel backed.

Also, the same night I shot my friend's band, I also shot a zombie walk in downtown Portland, which made for some awesome street. I'll post some of that soon

In the mean time, I'll be shooting as much as I can. I cant say I'll be posting much on here since breaking through all the untalented noise that's called "art" is seemingly impossible. I need to go get a second external hard drive right now so that I don't fill up my computer with nothing but RAW images. Don't be a stranger.
